Cyclone has performed several major projects at Rush University Medical Center campus in Chicago. Two custom built-up air handling units service the Atrium Building surgical suites. Cyclone commissioned the new units which operate in parallel and featured chilled water coils, steam heating coils, humidification, economizer, filtration and a fan wall. RUMC renovated floors 7, 8 and 9 which were most post-partum patient rooms. Cyclone commissioned all systems servicing the approximately 120,000 square feet of renovated space. Additionally, Cyclone coordinated tests of the emergency generator system. The project earned LEED for Commercial Interiors v2 certification.
