As a Building Analyst supporting sustainability efforts, Karl is responsible for working with clients aiding them in sustainable and energy efficient building design and construction.
Prior to joining the Cyclone team, Karl was a Sustainability Consultant at WMA Engineers, where over the course of 4 years he managed sustainable design projects from small interior office build-outs to extensive renovations to ground-up high rise construction. Project teams Karl has been a part of have achieved various levels of LEED certification with the highest being the first Core & Shell Platinum certified building in Chicago under the LEED v2009 rating system.
A native of Laurel, MD, Karl attended Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Geography.

While he was growing up in Maryland, Karl was an active Boy Scout ultimately achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. He is also a PADI certified Advanced Open Water and Wreck diver with his favorite diving locales being the Cayman Islands and the coast of North Carolina where many historical shipwrecks are found.
