As Account Manager, Megan oversees energyPLAN accounts to ensure that the monitoring of building data and implementation of cost-saving initiatives are on target to meet or exceed building performance expectations. Prior to joining the Cyclone team, Megan worked with a Chicago-based sustainability consulting firm where she was one of the key project managers for LEED Certification submittals and who, over the course of five years, grew the department to become the Director of Professional Services. In this role she oversaw not only all LEED Certification submittals but also engaged with clients regarding building performance through a sustainability tracking platform.
Megan grew up in Nebraska where she earned her degree in Psychology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. After a move and starting her career in North Carolina, Megan moved to Chicago and earned her Interior Design degree at Harrington College of Design. This shift opened the doors to becoming a LEED Accredited Professional and an overall champion of sustainable design and energy efficient initiatives.
Megan has always had a knack for Project Management and not many know that she started her professional career in the pharmaceutical industry where she worked on innovative clinical trials aimed at obtaining FDA approval.
