President’s Plaza is an office complex of four interconnected towers. The property features conference facilities, retail space, restaurant and lodging amenities, and is located near Chicago O’Hare International Airport. Cyclone has provided continuous support to the building, working on multiple projects over six years, helping to keep the 40 year old building performing at the top of its class. Cyclone provided services supporting LEED EBOM Silver recertification, utility company incentives, LED lighting upgrade for the parking garages, retro-commissioning and commissioning the replacement of the complex’s two chiller plants, which total over 2,000 tons of cooling capacity. As a result of the chiller replacement project, GlenStar received a $250,000 ComEd incentive. President’s Plaza is also an active energyPLAN client since 2016. Cyclone has worked closely with GlenStar Property Management to find new and innovative opportunities to save energy and operating costs. Overall energy efficiency of the property has increased through the culmination of all the projects performed.
