CHICAGO, 7/20/26 - Cyclone Energy Group, a leading provider of sustainability and decarbonization consulting services, is proud to announce its role as the sustainability and energy design partner for 410 N. Elizabeth, a groundbreaking 33-story multifamily tower in Chicago’s Fulton Market neighborhood.

In partnership with co-developers Tree Street Group (TSG) and Magellan Development Group (MDG), the project recently closed on construction financing and officially commenced construction. When completed, the pioneering 383-unit development will stand as Chicago’s very first all-electric, geothermal multifamily high-rise.

By utilizing advanced energy modeling and integrating cutting-edge engineering design parameters, Cyclone Energy Group worked closely with the development team to ensure the building far exceeds traditional building standards. The building’s state-of-the-art geothermal system - combined with a high-performance, triple-glazed window wall system and energy recovery ventilation - will reduce overall energy usage by an estimated 60 percent, translating to a projected 30 percent reduction in carbon emissions.

"Rising above Chicago's West Loop, 410 Elizabeth is taking sustainable urban living to new heights," said Benjamin Skelton, President of Cyclone Energy Group. "From its foundation up, this groundbreaking multifamily tower elevates eco-conscious engineering by utilizing a low global warming potential concrete mix, an all-electric design, and a geothermal heating and cooling system. By scaling up these advanced efficiency measures behind a high-performance triple-glazed façade by Reflections Window + Wall, 410 Elizabeth rises high above the standard for reducing emissions - and delivers a 60% reduction in energy costs compared to traditional urban high-rises."

410 N. Elizabeth represents a massive milestone for high-density, urban green building. The geothermal HVAC system, owned and operated by Infinite Energy Partners, eliminates the need for fossil fuels on-site. Furthermore, the building’s carbon footprint is heavily reduced from day one through the intentional specification of a low global warming potential (GWP) concrete mix for its structural frame.

“Tree Street Group, Magellan Development Group, Infinite Energy Partners, and Integra-X-Builders are proud to be pioneering geothermal energy at our 410 N Elizabeth project,” said Rodrigo d’Escoto, principal of Tree Street Group (TSG).  “This technology will usher in a new era of green building, bolstering Chicago’s well-earned reputation as a national leader in sustainable development and investment.”
